Animal Rights and Responsible Fishkeeping

Some people have asked me, "If I'm so big on animal rights and responsible fishkeeping, why do you even keep fish?"

A very good question, and the answer is that I figure I have a much better chance to effect change on the industry and people's perceptions of fish by being in the industry than trying to fight what I perceive as injustices from the outside.

Here you will find links to animal and fish shelters and other sites related to respecting the rights of species other than homo sapiens.

Stop the cruel and horrible process of dying (by either dipping or injecting) of ornamental fish.  Check out this site to learn more about it and how you, as a hobbiest, can help.
